Indication: It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, including
upper respiratory tract infections, ear infections, skin infections, and
urinary tract infections.
Dosage: The Usual Daily Dose is 2-4 g daily in four equally divided
doses intramuscularly or intravenously (e.g. 500 mg to 1 g four times
a day).
