Benzathine Penicillin G
Indication: It is used for the treatment of erysipelas, syphilis,
yaws & pinta. It is used prophylactically for rheumatic fever
(chorea, rheumatic carditis), post-streptococcal
glomerulonephritis & erysipelas.
Dosage:
Adults: 1.2M IU
Children (< 30 kg body weight): 0.6M IU
Children (> 30 kg body weight): 1.2M IU
